Why did I just donate $100 to Nikki Haley’s Presidential Campaign?
I have been a Conservative Republican my entire voting life. I have never missed voting in a presidential election.
But it really hit me today … if I have to choose again between Donald Trump and Joe Biden, I’m tempted to sit this election out.
They are both so pathetic, so over the hill, so stuck in the past. Surely we can do better!
Then I realized … if a rock-solid lifelong conservative like me feels this way, how many other Republican voters will sit out this election in disgust?
If we really want to defeat Joe Biden, shouldn’t we nominate a candidate with some class and integrity? Maybe someone who hasn’t paid off porn-stars and been indicted for shady real estate deals?
Maybe someone who doesn’t behave like an obnoxious third-grade bully?
I believe the only real chance we have to move forward is with Nikki Haley, a solid conservative with a proven record as South Carolina’s governor.
She is the last conservative candidate left with the courage to stand up to Trump’s intimidating threats.
Unlike Donald Trump and Joe Biden, she is intelligent enough to speak in coherent sentences. She can communicate ideas instead of just name calling.
Also, unlike Donald Trump or Joe Biden, she seems to genuinely respect the Constitution.
She is not sleazy or over the hill or an ego-maniac. She is not wallowing in the past. She is looking towards the future. And polling indicates she makes a stronger candidate against President Biden.
I don’t think I can hold my nose tight enough to make myself vote for Donald Trump a third time. And I suspect many other Americans feel the same way.
Watching Trump throw Mike Pence under the bus during the January 6th riots, after four years of loyal service, told me all I need to know about the sleazy character of our former President.
Trump is a bully and a vindictive ego-maniac. Assuming he could win in the general election, do we really want four more years of his prima donna drama in the White House?
Trump’s negatives are so high with independent voters, I cannot imagine him winning the general election.
Why should we waste our time with Trump and all his baggage, when we can have a strong conservative candidate who attracts mainstream voters, and who is not obnoxious?
All I can say is: “Run, Nikki, run!”
Haley has the spine to stand up to Trump, and the best shot at beating Biden.
If enough MAGA Republicans stop drinking the Trump Kool-Aid, we can make Nikki Haley our first great female Republican President!
